SEE YOUR DELIVERANCE
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25 – 26
Paul admonishes us not to look at the things that are seen because they are subject to change. We are told to live by faith and not by sight because the things we see are temporary. Martha was still mourning the loss of her brother Lazarus when Jesus arrived at the scene four days later. As far as she was concerned Lazarus was dead and gone, after all she probably provided the burial garment in which his body was neatly wrapped up and buried. She must have provided some good oil and perfumes for the mortuary attendants to apply on his body. She was at the tomb side when he was put in and probably wailed sorrowfully as the tomb was covered. Those images were fixated in her mind. Those were the last moments she could remember of the life of her dear brother.
Thus when Jesus proclaimed the powerful truth about him being the resurrection and the life, she couldn’t understand and receive the power of that truth because all she saw was Lazarus dead and buried. Learn from Martha’s error; change your view of the challenges you are going through. In spite of the fact that a day hardly passes by without a fight in your home, see a happy and peaceful marriage fueled by love. Your bank account might be empty but see millions of naira in your name. You may be homeless right now, see yourself living in your dream home. Believe what you have tutored yourself to see and you will see the manifestation of it just like Lazarus came forth to manifest the fact that Jesus is indeed the resurrection and the life! Let every dead dream and vision of success for your life come alive in the name of Jesus.
Liberation thought: Goodness and Mercy pursue and overtake me daily.
